Dimitri works on the ENSIGN team and studies tensor decompositions and their application to geospatial and cybersecurity problems. He is interested in using unsupervised machine learning techniques to post-process tensor decompositions in order to explain patterns and detect anomalies in data. He has also made contributions to the ENSIGN code base including a high-performance parallel data ingest and tensor construction tool.
He holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Columbia University, where he specialized in intelligent systems and studied manifold learning and neural techniques, with particular applications to genomics.
When he’s not coding or making sense of tensor decompositions, he’s probably baking naturally-leavened bread or riding his bike.
