IEEE SmartGridComm 2020

At the IEEE International Conference on Communications, Control, and Computing Technologies for Smart Grids (IEEE SmartGridComm 2020), Dr. Atul Bohara presents “ED4GAP: Efficient Detection for GOOSE-Based Poisoning Attacks on IEC 61850 Substations” on Thursday, November 12 at 11am eastern during session Security 3: Attack and Defence. This work, with contribution from Reservoir engineer Jordi Ros-Giralt, introduces ED4GAP, a network-level system guided by a finite state machine model for network communication concerning the attacks, which analyzes network traffic out-of-band and detects attacks in real-time.
