At the 2019 SIAM Workshop on Network Science, Jordi Ros-Giralt will be presenting the poster “On the Bottleneck Structure of Positive Linear Programming“, addressing Reservoir Labs’ research and technology for communications traffic bottleneck and flow analysis for optimization. The poster illustrates the connection between positive linear programming (PLP) problems and network problem representations.
This research enables new polynomial-time optimization algorithms for PLP. While the result itself is compelling on its own mathematical and technical merits, more broadly applied – it is indicative of an opportunity for new, powerful approaches for network flow optimization at scale.
The poster session (PP100) is on Wednesday, May 22 at 3:50pm in the Snowbird Center – Cottonwood A&B in Snowbird, Utah.
