BsidesNYC: Reservoir Presentation on “Moving Graph Analytics to Higher Dimensions to Discover Network Activity / Anomalies that are implicit in behavior – Connections in High Dimensions”

On Saturday January 20 in New York city, Reservoir’s Rich Lethin will present at BSidesNYC, explaining how computing and examining the spectrum of “high dimensional graphs” (or hypergraphs) can illuminate connections that are implicit, to reveal interesting activity in data such as event logs.  BSidesNYC is “an Information / Security conference that’s different. We’re a 100% volunteer organized event put on by and for the community and we truly strive to keep information free.”  The focus of Richard’s presentation will be intuition about how the mathematics works, with examples and illustrations from the application of Reservoir’s ENSIGN tool to cyber data.  For more information about ENSIGN, please see our papers about the unique technology that Reservoir brings for sparse tensor decompositions.
