Reservoir Labs Presenting at the Cybersecurity Symposium 2016

Managing Engineers from Reservoir Labs, Dr. James Ezick and Mr. Alan Commike, will deliver presentations at the Cybersecurity Symposium 2016, set for April 18-20, 2016 at the University of Idaho’s Center for Secure and Dependable Systems (CSDS) in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Held at The Coeur d’Alene Resort, the conference brings together leading researchers and software and system developers from industry and government to meet and discuss state-of-the-art processes related to cybersecurity.

On Wednesday, April 20, Mr. Commike will present his paper, “Cyber Security Challenges in an Open High Speed Network”. This talk discusses the cyber security challenges and solutions associated with a terabit sized open network and highlights some of the security solutions brought to bear for this world-class challenge. Dr. Ezick will present a paper titled, “Cyber Security through Multidimensional Data Decompositions”. The paper describes how ENSIGN extends R-Scope with cutting-edge hypergraph analysis capable of finding deep patterns at enterprise scale. Dr. Ezick’s presentation will include a summary of results from Supercomputing 2015 where ENSIGN, operating in the SCinet SOC, discovered patterns of potentially malicious behavior from metadata collected by R-Scope.
