X-Stack Research in Intel Collaboration Exhibit Booth at Supercomputing 2013

11/13/13 Reservoir and our collaborators will present work-in-progress that we are performing as part of the US Department of Energy Exascale Software Stack (X-Stack) program at the 2013 Supercomputing Conference in Denver, Colorado, Nov 19-21. We will demonstrate our innovations as part of the Intel Traleika Glacier team in X-Stack. Reservoir will discuss R-Stream® compiler technologies for automatic code generation from sequential input code to task-oriented runtimes, in particular the Open Community Runtime (OCR) and Intel’s Concurrent Collections. We have also developed a Runtime Agnostic Layer for this class of runtimes that solves key scalability challenges for compilers targeting exascale architectures, with their expected deep memory and packaging hierarchies, and can do so for a range of runtimes within the task-oriented execution model. The presentation format will be at a collaboration station section within  Intel main exhibit booth where you can visit with our researchers, and where we can show slides, code samples, and give demos. Location: Booth number 2701 in the Colorado Convention Center:
  • Tuesday, Nov 19, 10am-12pm and 4-6pm
  • Wednesday, Nov 20, 2pm-4pm
  • Thursday, Nov 21, 11am-12pm
